Who owns the property?

On Cribvest, investment properties are owned by Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs). Each SPV is a separate legal entity created to hold a specific property. As an investor, you own shares in the SPV, not the property directly. These shares represent a fraction of the property, entitling you to a proportional share of any rental income and proceeds from the property’s sale. The SPV handles all aspects of property management, from tenant relations to maintenance, allowing investors to enjoy passive income without day-to-day involvement.

This structure isolates financial and legal risks to each individual property, enhancing safety and simplifying management for investors.
